Has anyone rented a dozer before in the Zapata area? Trying to figure out the best option. Finding a dozer is a lot harder than I was expecting. Needing to do some road work. Any help is appreciated

You are a lot better off finding a dozer operator that has his own equipment and paying him.

Yup, or the local FSA/USDA office too.

Go see James at Falcon Lake Tackle. He knows quite a few folks in Zapata.

Check out the large rental places like United, brother rented one in Abilene and they delivered it 45 miles and picked it up when he called them. It was a D-6 and only allowed to use it 8-10 hrs per day

A good operator can get twice the work done and leave a smooth finish on whatever you want done. If your not an experienced operator you will waste a lot of time trying to achieve desired results. I have a 650 Deere and if you do rent they are pretty easy to run.
