I love 1911s, own several. I just heard about a manufacturer TISA, I think they are European. I know 2 guys that own one and theys really like them. I am not a 1911 snob, I have Rugers, Rock Island, Remington, Rock River.I'm saving up for a Wilson Combat though. I see a range in prices. Any of yall know anything about them? Or just an opinion.

For the money they can't be beat. I have a few stainless model and just ordered 2 of the GI variants from PSA. I could not be happier with the ones that I have shot.

I have one in 10mm. I wanted a Delta Elite since forever, but I kept seeing accounts about accuracy being hit and miss (pun not intended). I know MY luck, so I abstained. I opted for a Tisas D10 over one of the Philippines guns. Tisas is made by Girsan, a Turkish outfit.
My D10 isn't perfect but there's nothing wrong with it that cant be easily fixed. I was really pleased with the workmanship in the places you can't see until you disassemble it...in fact, I was downrigjt surprised. Its shortcomings: it's pretty tight NIB and you might see some functional failures until it loosens up just a bit, the trigger pull out of the box is mediocre at best, and on mine the hammer pivot (or was it the trigger pivot??) pin wants to back out of the frame. I still haven't spent a lot of time with the gun so I won't comment on accuracy, but I have no reason to think I'm not going to be happy with it. It's a lot of pistol for the money.

I own three now. 2 -45acp ( 1 blk and 1 SS) and a new one in 9mm. Quality made for the price point. I typically swap the grip panels. There are sales on them as well. Xmas time was good on Classic Firearms.
I would compare the fit/finish better than a bunch of others out there.

I got a RIA when they were cheap. No use for me to get a TISA.
Pass the gravy.
