Who has adjusted their shocks by rotating the adjustment rings on their Polaris Ranger? I did mine, wish I had removed the rear tires before I ever attempted the first one. I wasted several minutes on the first one before I decided I'd have much easier access with the tires out of the way.

I did gain 1" of clearance pretty easliy without spending any $. Other than stiffening the ride, are there any negative consequences to doing this?

no. You are just adding more preload on to the springs. in theory you have a little less up travel

I just changed out actual spring rates and shocks on my Mule.

See if they offer a tender spring for your ranger. I did that to our defender and it’s a game changer. Got bout 1.5-2” and rode way better
