Who has adjusted their shocks by rotating the adjustment rings on their Polaris Ranger? I did mine, wish I had removed the rear tires before I ever attempted the first one. I wasted several minutes on the first one before I decided I'd have much easier access with the tires out of the way.
I did gain 1" of clearance pretty easliy without spending any $. Other than stiffening the ride, are there any negative consequences to doing this?
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

You are just adding more preload on to the springs. in theory you have a little less up travel I just changed out actual spring rates and shocks on my Mule.

See if they offer a tender spring for your ranger. I did that to our defender and it’s a game changer. Got bout 1.5-2” and rode way better
