I often say, I will never be as good as either of my parents and I mean it. Daddy passed ten years ago and and on Thursday, Mom left to join him. She accomplished lots and raised at least one good kid (people like my sister). Got to see her go though the final weeks and days, but will never remember her that way. Hug, kiss and enjoy the ones you love. No matter how selfish you want to be, they won't always be there. I am ever so fortunate and we are all good here.

Its always hard when you realize both your parents are now gone & all we have left are our memories of them. The legacy for all of us are the good memories we create & the people we leave behind to remember them. Looks like your mother had that handled!
