So I heard that there is a warthog’s Texas. What is worst, Feral Hogs or warthogs?

I'd say the feral hogs. Mainly due to how many there are in the state.
I didn't even know wharthogs were present in Texas.

Never been around warthog but them ferals scares me. They go full charge in cage to a point bustin up their snouts. Not mentioning chomping with them teeth’s staring you down.

Feral hogs have a shorter gestation period and have larger litters.

I don't have an issue with them. Texas has been primarily a 1 large animal state for so long it's nice to have another option. If I had crops, I'm sure I would think differently about it, but I don't.

Warthogs:
Gestation 160-170 days
1 litter per year common
Can have 2-8 piglets common is 2-3
Males mature around 2 years old
Females have first litter around 2 years old
Feral Hogs:
Gestation 114 days
2 litters per year common
Can have 3-13 piglets common is 3-8
Males mature around 6 months but size limits breeding success
Females can mature as early as 3-4 months, most average 6 months

There was a warthog killed at the Chaparral this year. I think warthogs would be meaner, they have to be to live and proliferate in Africa.

There was a warthog killed at the Chaparral this year. I think several have been killed there over the past few years

I believe I saw a warthog this year in bow season on the double mountain salt fork river area. Didn't get within bow range but got within 75 yards. Through binos got good look and I've never seen a TX hog or feral hog with cutters, head and face like the one I saw. I've heard they are on the Chap. Do they migrate and move?
p.s. I've never seen a black panther...
