Wife does mine. We bought clippers years ago and they have paid for themselves probably 10x over. Mohawks are easy to do and once a month or so cut the Hawk a little lower. Easy peasy.

It use to cost me $.10 per cut and I would do it twice a week. Now it costs me double that plus the cost of shaving creme but I am still under fiddy cents per week for two cuts and shaves. I just buy the cheapest double blade disposable razors I can find and use them once and trash them. I know some peoples head will break out when using cheap razors but mine dont. In 25 years I have only gotten one bad razor that just flat butchered my head. Had to wait 2 weeks after that shave for all the cuts to heal before I could shave again.

Yup, even got my boy his own set of clippers like mine. Wife does a great job on me and the boy even.

I’ve cut my own since college. Used to use the scissors but now just use the clippers.

My son turns 15 this Sunday and his hair is starting to become important grin he’s got a lot of it too… lucky little snot. He likes a place called Floyd’s. They’re pretty expensive but they actually cut his hair and do a real good job. They do play good music while I wait, so at least there’s that

Cut mine every two weeks for the last 30 years. About every 5 years have to buy a new set of clippers. Saved me a lot of money, gas and wasted time.

Reminds me of an old joke about a guy making fun of another guy for being fat.
The fat guy responds "I maybe be fat, but your ugly and I can lose weight"

Well I can get a hair transplant, you two are just SOL rofl bolt

Lady Hair Stylist across the street from the domino hall, does Vets for $5.00. With tip that's a $10.00 cut every two months.
And that's a scissor cut.
No extra drive since I'm already there.

Just old school fancy. Real old fashion chairs, warm lather and shave on back of neck, hot towel to rinse off lather, trim eyebrows, and then a quick neck massage. Check out the web page for pictures.

Will you be going back? Price?

Probably will be going back. All the barbers took their time and was in no hurry. Is it a perfect haircut--probably not as there is no such thing for me. What I liked the most was I was in the chair for over 30 minutes instead of the 10 and done thing at most places. Cost was $25 + tip ($10) and felt like she earned every bit of it.

The guy next to me was getting something special in that he was in the chair when I got there and still in the chair when I left. I was there for a total of fifty minutes or so counting waiting time but I have no clue what he asked for.

Is that going rate in Korea?

I figured it was cheaper there, I have been to Seoul Airport many times and it's pretty amazing, never been outside the airport, but I thought in general Korea was much cheaper and then USA and I wasn't aware they tipped in Korea.

Pay $13.00 to a barber who has cut my hair since I was 10 yo and I'm 61 now. He's 94 and still does an excellent job but it's nothing compared to the conversation of all the old timers who still go there to get a trim, a cup of coffee, or just some good conversation. We've already solved the worlds problems if anyone would bother to ask.

When I was still on Active Duty someone asked how much I pay for a haircut. I replied 60K a year. I explained my wife cuts my hair and she gets everything. I also always felt like I was lying when I gave blood. They ask if you have Ever paid for sex. My reply is I'm a married man I've been paying for at least the past 32 years!!!
