Looking into booking a a south Texas whitetail hunt for me and my father and don’t know where too start so I’d figure I’d ask here first.

Looking for management style hunt so maybe up to 140 inches? Place does not need to be fancy by any means but nice enough lodging. No real preference high fence or low fence, just don’t want to be shooting out of a big pen.

Big thing is the real south Texas hunting experience of mesquite thickets and senderos. I’m thinking around Big Wells, Jim Hog county, Webb county, maybe around Dilley ect. Any help, places to go or avoid would be much appreciated.

At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR
