So I'm currently on a deer lease in S Texas, been on it for 12+ years. My daughter started hunting with me a coupe years ago and the drive is too far for her. So, though I really like my current lease, I told her I'd look for one closer to home.

What I'm looking for is something within 3 hours of Houston (I live in Conroe). I'd prefer to go North: Madison, Leon, Houston, Freestone or Anderson counties. I would also consider West: Burleson, Lee, Washington, Austin, Colorado or Fayette counties. Or even South down towards Victoria, Dewitt, Lavaca or Jackson counties.

It seems like abroad area, but I've seen very few leases in these areas. I'm willing to take on an entire lease or fill spots if there is a lease with openings. I'm not looking for massive B&C record bucks & I'm no meat hunter. I've only killed 5 trophy bucks on my current lease in 12+ years, so I'm selective. I have a generous budget up to $6k for us a spot or more if it is an entire lease that I run. RV's allowed a must, elec & water a plus.

For me its all about the time spent with my daughter & good people on a lease. I'm willing to pay a finders fee if anyone has info that leads me to sign a new lease as well.
