I had a good friend out with us this weekend and he took a pretty nice Sika bull. Main beams where 26" and 24" and he was 7.5yr old. He lost a few inches in antler this year and lost of lot of weight as well. It was his time.

Is it typical for them to start dropping down at only 7.5 or was this one possible injured or something else?


High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I figured he woud be peaking right about now but I'm not 100% sure. He did have a limp after the rut last year

I suspect that the injury did have some affect on him then.

Great looking animal.
