That recoil doesn’t look any lighter than your typical AR10 308. That barrel recoiling back into the gun seems like a recipe for jams and an accuracy killer. The two videos I saw of people actually shooting it said it was less felt recoil than a .223. The type of recoil action has been used for years on Benelli shot guns, the Remington Model 11, the Browning Auto 5, and the Barret .50 cal. It is a very reliable system. Barret .50 cals are used by the military as sniper rifles, although they are not as accurate as the bolt actions. I think for a hog hunting gun, where fast follow up shots on multiple pigs are needed, it would be great. Our Barrett 50 was a 3-4 inch MOA gun. So yeah, no where even close to its bolt action counterpart. The other weapons you mentioned are all vastly different than a rifle caliber in both recoil & accuracy. I mentioned the other guns in response to your comment about jamming. The short and long recoil action is proven reliable. However that action type are generally known to have more felt recoil than gas operated guns of the same weight and caliber, not less. All I have to go by for the recoil is the two YouTube videos, maybe they are just shills for a new gun company. It's a new gun announced at Shot Show, If it is what they say it is, a .308 that has less felt recoil than a .223, and if it is accurate enough for hog hunting out to 200 yards I find it interesting. It's also a brand new company started up by one man. What is the chances he will still be in business in 5 or 10 years, or will his rifle be a feature on Forgotten Weapons? You are obviously pessimistic about it and I am optimistic about it. Us arguing about it is kind of pointless. We won't know who is right until they get some in peoples hands and they start shooting them.

None of them really scream gotta have to me, at the bottom of that link there is the same article but about handguns. None of which look very awesome either. The CZ DWX looks pretty awesome, but at 2K I won't be buying one.
Wondering if some of these MSRP's are inflated right now, they all seem pretty expensive. The FN 510 may tempt me but that may be more because I've got in in my head that I need a 10mm for some reason.

I had a KRISS Vector in 10mm, not sure if it was the loads I was loading being pretty hot or what, but that thing would rattle your teeth when firing it. I sold that sucker pretty quick LOL.

I’ve never even shot a 10mm but that doesn’t really surprise me. I have no clue why I want one but I do lol. I want a Dan Wesson Kodiak but $2,400 is a bit steep.

That design was a big reason the browning A5 was a high recoil shotgun, even with 2 3/4 heavy duck loads you would have a sore shoulder after a good morning . It’s a $4500-$4700 street price novelty. I’m sure it will be easy to make work with a suppressor

So far this is what I am most interested in. I saw the list of what’s new and thought to myself “yay more chassis rifles  ”. After watching the video it’s about time someone comes out with a good looking bolt gun under $2k
