Has anyone run across a single sided (troughs/ports only on one long side) stand and fill with at least 600 lb capacity? I’m looking to put one up against my pen panels and want it to only feed inside so that cows don’t get to it.

On a perimeter fence is going to cause an issue I think when it gets very dry with the feeder that close to the fence. Priefert makes a feeder like this but it is a timed trough feeder that opens when you want it to and closes when you set it to close. Rain sensor to close it also then reopens when it senses the moisture level drop. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2023/01/full-21480-378029-img_4394.jpg)

Appreciate the reply. I was thinking free choice but I’d be up for this one if you could set it to open just after sunrise and close just before sunset to manage the coons.
What are you thinking on the dry comment? Curious why that close to the fence will matter unless you’re thinking pressure by numbers will make deer not want to use it.

The ranch the feeders like the one I posted are on....have them during hunting season set them so they open at daylight and they close at dark. Sky is the limit on when you want them to open or close and multiple times per day. Cattle will tear the fence down to get to the feeder eventually if it is on the fence.
