We went out for our last weekend hunting trip. We deer hunted our dove field that has a feeder on it and there were crazy amounts of dove on it. I've never seen this many dove. September has some dove, but the last few years we have had very low dove numbers. This last weekend had the most dove I've ever seen. There had to be many hundreds of them with large groups and constant flying activity. We will plan to make some late season dove hunts next year, for sure! South Young County, near Elliasville.

I have large groups hanging around each of my corn feeders. Hope they stick around and make lots of babies. I finished dragging my fields last week. Just need buckets of rain now.

Don't know you from Adam, Stompy, but I saw a long range forecast that said 82% chance that La Nina stops affecting weather by the end of February, beginning of March. I'm a hay farmer so fingers crossed with you for a shift in the rain amount/frequency from the last 3 years.
