Going on my first ever crane hunt outside Colorado city! Out of these options which of these ammunition choices would you pick?
Thanks

Lone Watie : It's not right, this damn woman doing something like this to me. I used to have power. Now old age is creeping up on me.

Josey Wales : More like old habits than old age.

OK bb’s it seems to be I have had people tell me to use number twos and I’ve heard people say he’s number fours!
This is something that kind of popped up so I figured why not just see if I have anything that will work. Thank you to the folks who responded

2s or bbs. And unless they are landing, I agree with leading more than you think you need to!

Don’t overthink it. It’s like shooting a hula hoop someone threw in the air.

I've been going out the last 3 years with #2s and a full choke. Haven't had any issues. Also have seen guys in our groups shooting BB's as well.

Can't go wrong with BB-2's especially if only going to shoot Cranes. 2's are my go to for combo hunts, couldn't find any recently for a goose hunt and BB's do the job just fine.

I went on my first crane hunt yesterday, the guide recommended BB and that’s what we used, knocked them over pretty good. We had them coming in to decoys so for us it was “pop up, point and shoot”, birds were about 30yrs out and low.
