I have been taking Ozempic. I know Metformin is one of the more frequently taken drugs, but I can't take it. Blue Cross just informed me that they will not continue to pay on the Ozempic. I looked up the cash price and it's almost $1K for a month's supply. I'm not paying $12K a year for it. What do you take? I'm in need of some options. Blue Cross is not my friend.

1 - Janumet 50/1000 and 2 - Glimepiride 4mg daily. I stay right about 110 sometimes less on my blood. A1C is usually 7.5-8

I take Glipizide 5mg once a day every morning and I was also taking Metformin 500mg but it gave me a sick (nausea) feeling so I quit taking it.

You need to change your supplier. Most Semaglutide is $400 for 2-3months Don’t do brand name use a mixing pharmacy. Semaglutide is extremely popular now due to it being approved for weight loss

My pharmacy does compounding and quoted me the $1K without ins. I'll report back what I find out. Thanks.

I take Metformin and Mounjaro.
The Mounjaro is still pretty new, I've been on it for about 3 and half months and blood sugar went from the mid 200s to 104 -130 and I've lost 27lbs. Which the medicine showed in studies people would drop an average of like 18 to 20 pounds

Metformin 1000 morning and evening.
If you find yourself feeling useless, remember it took 20 years, trillions of dollars, and four presidents to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.
Sometimes the Universe puts you in the same situation again to see if you’re still a dumbass.

I was on Metformin for 15 years, until it suddenly started causing digestive issues
