I am looking at hunting east matagorda bay on the west shore marshes from a kayak. has anybody ever had a problem with homeowners/people in that area. Everywhere i am looking at is over half mile from any homes and across the road so shouldnt be any real problems. just didnt know if the people there dont like duck hunters.

I fish over there in my kayak sometimes, and I don't think you would have a problem. I see the remains of blinds in lots of places, and have actually crossed paths with duck hunters in 3 mile lake while I was in my kayak and everyone was cordial.

Get after it. I hunt out there from time to time when I see ducks in the area while fishing.
