Had a quail hunt scheduled in mid-January for myself and four others around the Zapata area. Received a call from the guide a couple of days ago saying he had lost the lease.
We're trying to replace the hunt. Do any of you know of a place in south Texas where we can hunt wild quail? I guess, even if we can't replace this trip, we will be looking for a new place to quail hunt. We've been hunting with the same outfit for over 20 years.
