We love hot chicken salad for meals, and the leftovers make awesome croissant sandwiches the next day. Lots of crunch from the celery, water chestnuts, and almonds. Since everything is cooked and nothing is perishable, it just goes out on the shelf in the garage. At 34 degrees, it's better than any refrigerator!!! smile

Only in my hot mix that's baked. Gives it twice the crunch, you should try it.
Traditional cold salad has hard boiled eggs and sweet relish instead!!
