My great grandson, Asher Matson, took his first deer this past weekend. He was using his dad's .308, shooting off a tripod at 133 yards with a perfect shoulder shot. Asher is 9 years old and started shooting more last year, worked his way up to the .308 with no issues! His dad, Jack, is an Afghan war vet and started his son shooting rifles 2 years ago.
