I have a SilencerCo Harvester EVO in jail. Will direct thread onto my 700 clone Christensen .308. Question is if I remove it so the rifle will fit in the case, then reinstall, will the point of impact remain the same? Thanks.

Can’t speak to your exact setup, but I remove my direct thread SandmanTi from my Rem700 after every trip and have never experienced POI shift

I've never experienced a POI shift from removal and reattachment. Not to say it couldn't happen, but...

Same. I've removed all of mine from many different rifles probably hundreds of times and never seen a POI shift.

I use my Omega 300 (direct thread) on several different deer rifles and have never had an issue with removal/reattachment.

I swap my Omega between 2 rifles, they both shoot the same each time. Killed a doe at 258 after swapping it a few weeks ago.

No shift, even with a QD mount.
