Ok, I'm being serious now, never post a dead animal on a forum that you killed and you cannot ID, and ask a forum to ID it for you. That is just dumb. GW's are completely plugged into forums..

So what kind of duck is illegal to shoot even one?

Not sure your question has anything to do with my post or point, but you cannot shoot a duck out of season and also cannot shoot a bird that looks like a duck but it's not, like a Grebes.

But my point is, never post "any dead animal" you killed and ask a forum to ID it, that is just dumb, JMO! He killed a "bird", can you tell me what "bird" I killed? loser8

Ahhh, he did ask for Bird ID, not Duck ID. Oops, I totally misread it. Carry on...

OP should get this book, you can ID all your own ducks.. I carried this in my blind bag for years when I started hunting, it sits on a self in my office now. $13 on Amazon.
