Has anyone had to replace a side window on a Ranch King Little Buck ? Almost looks like you have to remove the metal.

Yes. Had to do it to two windows after a fire. Not an easy job. You do have to take it apart. And don't forget to re caulk the seams.
Not fun.

A couple of other things.
Get a buddy to help you. We had one on the inside and one on the outside.
Make sure you wear gloves. That metal will cut.
Allow plenty of time. My buddy is an engineer. It took us quite a while to do 2 windows. I guess he's not as smart as I thought he was.
These blinds are very well made, and put together like a puzzle.

You do not have to remove any of the metal window frame. With gloves on just break out the rest of the glass. Then make sure your window frame slides open and closed. cut new glass or plexi to size to fit from outside to the edges of window frame and use construction grade adhesive and put hold pressure from outside pushing in to bond. Then caulk. Replaced a couple recently. easy peasy.
