Looking for something real cheap. Under $200, a “for now” optic for an AR that’ll do for maybe even a couple of years. Something like a red dot or maybe even a 1-4x or 1-8x variable. I’m guessing at Bushnell or vortex probably.
I’m good at cheap scopes but never really shopped for one to go on a AR, I got some good ideas but for the most part I think y’all know better than I.

Check out the Burris Droptine scopes at Natchez, they are a really good scope for the money and aren't made in China like all the new Bushnell scopes are.

$200 is close enough to a Burris RT6 that buying something cheaper is an expensive waste.
There are some cheap red dots you'd have a hard time killing. Bushnell TRS25 has survived a hard kicking turkey gun of mine for several years.I had a Vortex SPARC on an AR for a while. It was great until a sliver of a thorn got into the control pad. There are others.

Buying cheap [censored] over and over adds up. I learned that. That's why I don't have a thermal and have been asking questions.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
