I thought some of you might find it interesting to see what my neighborhood looks like.

These are some video captures take from a gopro mounted on a home built radio controlled model airplane.

The buildings at the top center is a grain elevator built by a grain purchasing company for storage of wheat and other grains, and subsequent loading onto rail cars for shipment to market.
My home is the building (black square) to the bottom left.
The trail through the trees is a Deer trail.
The gray area to the right is untouched forest running for hundreds of miles to the west, to the east is open farm land.

A better view of my house. To the upper left. The light blue object just left and above the house is a ski on the airplane.
To the far right and towards the upper part of the frame is my neighbors yard. He is a farmer with over 6 square miles of fields.
One of which is visible to the right of the frame.
The white rectangle below the plane's right ski is my water supply pond.
One Deer trail is visible leading from the elevator to my pond and another can be seen running across the lower portion of the frame.

A view with the Deer trails marked in brown.
The blue line is my back yard fence, to keep Bears away from my bird feeders and to keep my dog from getting into trouble.

Yup, same. I've been to Alaska and Canada, but not much quality time in Canada yet.

You need to build a small cabin I'd like to hang out up there for a few days. It'd pay for itself in no time just in THF'ers..

I have a quest room and an empty camper.

But perhaps a better option would be a guest ranch. I freind of mine runs just such a service a little ways south of Peace River.
He calls it, Peace River Cabins and Outdoors

The trail camera photos I post are from a camera placed along the Deer trail between the elevator and my back yard.

I know I posted a photo of a bear taken with that camera and I have dozens of photos of decent sized Whitetail bucks that I may post at some time.

Like this one. One corner of my fence is visible in the background.

The bear photo was posted in the daily photos thread. It's on page 97.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
