The best gifts for the wife are the ones you know shes going to buy for herself!!!! Manicure, pedicure, perfume, etc....it's money that would be spent anyway...might as well get credit for buying it! roflmao

Good idea in theory, but mine is way too smart to fall for that.

Corinthian Spa in Southlake is a real nice place if anyone still is looking. I 2nd the dyson also. Expensive but she will talk about it to everyone for years. Mine also love a good pair of Tory Burch Miller Sandles and the Stanley Mugs in different sizes and colors. Cheap and holds ice great.

Ruger EC9S. $259 at Academy Sports. Easy to shoot, not much recoil, accurate at self defense ranges. That's what I am getting mine.

My wife received from me a couple of massage gift certificates and a new set of binoculars. She's happy!

The last couple of years, my wife and I each buy our own presents, and make them from each other, or from the kids. Takes some of the surprise away, but at least we get exactly what we want. We may still try to buy each other a couple of things, and there’s always 1-2 bigger expenses that we consider our gifts to “us”, but most of the focus goes in the kids.

My dad bought my mother a new electric skillet every year when I was growing up. I’d do the same but my wife’s skillet lasts a lot longer. China must be making things better, or maybe gravy doesn’t hit the table quite as often?

I can’t imagine not getting my wife anything for Christmas. I like getting her gifts. It always pays off. I take my gifts out in trade. All gifts make her happy. Even the two year electric skillet.
