Wurstfest, being under the weather, rain at lease, mom put in nursing facility and having to go to Wifeypoo's ex-bartender's destination wedding have all combined to not allow me to go hunting yet. That all changes Thursday. I'll charge up the camcorder, sharpen some knives, fill up the flask and polish up some bullets tomorrow. Eight deer have to come out of my pasture and that will happen. I usually like to look around the first weekend out. This year, the blood will start dropping immediately. The good thing is the 1st cold front in December will be no different.
Let me know if anyone wants to swing by Sunday evening and help me bone out meat.

Be safe and good luck. If you see an ex UT lineman tell him hi. Mom's not in good shape, but has led a very good life. No pain, just misery or not being able to do anything. Some days not so bad as others. Hope Hospice is a blessing. About the bartender - I hope not. Abut the hello to the gruff ol' Refugio flash now living as lake trash on McQueeney - no problem.

This weekend will be prime time for rattling but will only be the preamble for the following Thursday when the first cold front in December has settled in.

Good luck on you hunt.
Feel you pain on your Mom in nursing home. My MIL is 91 and in same situation. Not fun - I was at the emergency room last night for 2 hours with her - constipated and hurting. She is miserable.
Anyway hang in there and show us some pics!
