Bought some frozen meat pies today. Had a pack in the freezer that just happened to be packed exactly one year earlier. Almost 65% increase year over year.

Not gonna lie. No clue what the h3ll a meat pie is but sounds gross. Sounds about like a meat cake or meat ice cream.

At the local grocery store, 12 hard boiled, peeled, ready to eat eggs are the same money as a dozen raw eggs. Odd times for sure.

Coming from the guy that doesn't lile kolaches, that doesn't carry much weight. It's a Coonazz empanada.

Food Club brand. I don’t know if the chickens speak English though.

What I've noticed most are the little things at the grocery store. The can of Rotel that used to be fifty cents in 2018-2019 is now $1.25. A pound of pasta has pretty much double in price in that same time as well. A loaf of good bread is $5-$6 now vs $3

The only way to control costs right now is to shop sales, use digital coupons, and stock up on non-perishables. Also pays not to be picky about brand on some items. 2 weeks ago Kroger had coupons for Red Gold diced peppers and tomatoes for $.68. I bought 2 cans with peppers and 3 without. Problem is you can't wait until the last couple of days of the sales.

Inflation due to the dollar being devalued which is in turn caused by Uncle Joe, ably assisted by both parties in Congress, looting the economy by stimulating their own checking accounts.

True. Also the high cost of living is cheap compared to the high cost of dying.

Similar to an English meat pie? Which was the basis for the Jamaican Beef Patty... which is awesome.

Cost for two at McAllister’s Deli.

Two half sandwiches
Two cups of soup
Two teas

$30.00

You don’t even get a whole sandwich at that prices.

McAllister's was always on the high end. Tea is a solid rip off, unless you can drink two gallons of it while in a sitting.
