Yep, but if mine craps out Springfield will fix it. I shoot enough USPSA I have seen a ton of STIs get to go back, along with SVs, atlas's, etc., so I wasn't to worried about it.

Yup, just a detractor on a mid end purchase.

I am out.

You mentioned "jam" in your shooting review, Will not take that chance.

Again, YMMV.

Lol, the one I trying to induce?

If you think there's a gun that won't jam, you haven't done enough shooting. Have a good one

^ This.

SA doesn't pay him so he's going to give a bad opinion

Played with a 4.25" at Mission Ridge the other day-- had some significant issues with the ambi safety not fully locking into or out of position and then the ambi portion on the right side (left thumb) actually popped out from behind the grip module and got stuck.

Probably not the demo you want out on the floor.

Have yet to fire one, hoping it is a 'one off' issue.

This why I don't buy display guns. Too many folks finger banging them when they have no clue what they are doing.

Interesting, just held the four and a quarter at Academy. One issue I had was the slide would hang when I would [censored] it back with the 17 round mag in. No issues with the safety or anything else, slide was smooth but not butter like a staccato. I would give it an A so far, I do want to purchase one now.

Hanging on the disco?

Was it on the way back or going forward?

Could’ve been, I didn’t pay attention where exactly. Definitely both ways, took the mag out and it was better but still hung up.

Comptac holster and mag holders worked great

FYI...looks like some optic plates are now shipping from SA. I received tracking on mine yesterday.

I have heard that some are shipping, when did you order yours? I ordered mine the first part of November, but no shipping notice yet

Finally got the plate for the SRO, it's nice. Sighted it in and put another 100 trouble free rounds through the gun. Planning to take it to it's first match while wearing optics this weekend
