That’s rough. I’ve got 2 little girls in that age range. I was really close… a lot closer than any father wants to be to dealing with a very similar situation this summer. Dealing with the DA now on a plea deal. I changed my routine after that. You just never know never let your guard down.

As a father to kids near her age, this is so hard to process. I just cant even imagine what her family is going thru. Just a terrible, terrible deal. Today we talked to our kids again about strangers and hugged them a little tighter.

I've read that he hit her and killed her, he panicked, scooped up her body and dumped her in a ditch down the road.

I’ve seen that claim too but the officials have not collaborated that story.

What I have seen is a woman he allegedly raped 6 years ago speak up that everyone called her a liar when it happened is now asking if people believe her. Lots to this mess that haven’t been released.
