Had any exits? They did great for us otherwise, but the offside hide caught the two we've used.

It be had exits with 53gr Barnes TSX

If the twist were better in the 22-250 there are some better 70+ gr bullets that pack a whoop.

I think rifle makers will start transitioning .22-250 barrels to a 1:8 twist.

It makes the .22-250 into a whole other animal. Same goes for the .223 Rem.

This is exactly what I did and I shoot the El-Cheap-O Hornady 75gr bthp part number 2279 and the damage it causes looks like a bomb went off. Hits cause a very distinctive red mist cloud and the entry wound gets stuff blown back out of it. If you shoot something small with it you can hardly tell what it was before you shot it. Shoot something coyote size and it damn near turns it inside out. On something pig sized I only find bits of what had been a bullet scattered through the wound channel and under the off side skin. I have tried other bullets around the same weight and nothing else has come even close to the damage the 2279 does. I'll give you some if you want to see for yourself.

1:8 .22-250

75 gr A-Max on a prairie dog is impressive coming out at 3200 fps.

Turns em inside out.

No I just got the stainless T3 light. Once I get it threaded I’ll be out at your place slinging. I need to see if I can get my daughter shooting far enough to take her mule deer hunting. I figured more better gun to let her send a 100rds down range with

3 shots, factory rifle.
