Cowboy Butter Recipe Ingredients 6 tablespoons butter 1/2 lemon, juiced Lemon zest 4 garlic cloves, minced 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon cayenne 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped 1 tablespoon fresh chives 1 teaspoon fresh thyme 1 teaspoon chili flakes Salt and pepper Directions Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat Add lemon juice, zest, garlic, mustard, paprika and cayenne, and whisk vigorously until combined Add parsley, chives, thyme, chili flakes and salt and pepper to taste, and continue whisking Allow to cool and serve alongside your main dish as a condiment

I don`t like the taste of butter at all. But if I did this sound great for extra flavor for lots of things. It`s a compound butter pure and simple. Don`t know why you have to put the butter in a saucepan though. Why not let it get to room temp and mix all the ingredients together and prepare like this video I posted below. Thanks for posting.
