I'll submit the latter is at play. That is what I was thinking. Plus, that's either the smallest hog I have ever seen or it's the biggest squirrel in north america. Or an optical illusion. Squirrel jumping between wires on fence appears to be riding hog.
Do for yourself as much as you can, eat what nature provides as much as you can. This is the key to sleeping well and living long.

Squirrels are crazy. Some years ago my brothers-in-law were in Washington DC, filming the pigeons on the mall eating popcorn. All of a sudden a squirrel darts out, grabs a squirrel by the neck and bites it. All the pigeons flew off and the squirrel cleaned up the popcorn.

I've seen a coon on the back of a hog under the feeder, hog did not seem concerned. It was a short ride though.
