After any family gathering the drinkers stay and enjoy. I don’t promote drinking during family time.

The verdict was, the $50 bottle of Doc Swinson’s was a hit, the 1.75l of Patron Silver is empty which speaks for itself, the Camulet 16 is $150 of crap. I appreciate a good whiskey and this was not it. It was left in the barrel too long.

Surprisingly the Doc Swinson’s is a 6 year old that I find exceptionally good at that price point.

That is all, carry on.

I had Doc Swinson's last week and thought it was pretty good. I haven't had that level of Camulet, but the one I did have was pretty forgettable.

Doc Swinsons is good

Calumet like most NDP ( non distilling producers) is over priced and over rated.

I bought that Calumet at the last dollar sale at Twins to try it. Wasn't worth it even at that price. Dammit if someone didn't give me a bottle of it for my birthday. Very nice gift, but you can get much better bourbon for a lot less.

Glad to hear that about Callumet, almost bought some and glad I didn't.
