I’m about to build a stupid 5” 300BLK SBR. Wanting it to be over the top and just silly. Which billet set would you choose? Will probably be purchasing tomorrow on cyber Monday deals. Which do you like and why?

Would Seekins retain value the best?

I would imagine the spikes would hold the best value because they’re pretty hard to find and always out of stock, but it’ll be SBR’d so it’ll stay with me for life not really worried about value retention. I personally really like the lines of the Seekins always have. But some of the new ones are pretty slick. The SLR’s are nice but 8-10 week wait on them.

Really wish BAD still had their PDW set with their PDW stock but they discontinued it.

I’m definitely leaning more towards the Seekins, I’ve used this same set on a 3Gun build before and I really like what they put out.

Can’t go wrong with any of them I wouldn’t think. But I like the look and finish of the Seekins.

If its my money Im going SLR. Battle Arms look cool but I just dont know them that well. Seekins makes good stuff but the curved likes dont work for me. My last choice would be Spikes, they seem to be having some issues or have just kinda gone dark on Arfcom Industry forum, plus I can never unsee the 2 weiners touching.

If you really wanna spend some coin….Noveske Gen 4

I definitely like the SLR and the fact you can get the builder set including the 4.25” rail with cerakote but I hate waiting and 8-10 weeks for an upper, lower, and rail is a little ridiculous if you get cerakote it adds even more time.

Between the BAD and SLR not much difference in price, but the Seekins are on sale everywhere right now.

I like Seekins, but to answer your question I'd choose SLR.

Narrowed it down to Seekins. Now I'm deciding between the NX15 or SP223 set. I've found both local for around $50 cheaper than anywhere online which also saves shipping and FFL fee.

Really liking the milled out look of the NX15 set, but the SP223 set has always been one of my favorite sets aesthetically.

What is the current lead time for a Form 1?

I have no clue, but I'm going to do it as soon as I get my lower with serial number. Not even going to put a brace on the gun I'll just wait until the Form1 is approved and put a PDW stock on it. Hopefully its not too long at the moment.

Done deal, couldn’t find the SP223 upper in stock anywhere so went with the NX15 set. Should be here soon, can’t wait.

Don’t rule out Zev products. They bought Mega Arms and those are awesome. Hopefully Zev maintained that quality.

Nice choice. I didnt know Seekins had that version. Much better design to me than the curvy one. Post pics when you receive.

I got a Form 1 approved in like 10 days back last Spring.

This sucker is going to be tiny.

Got some parts in today but still waiting on a lot. Figured they’d be here by now.
