Seems like in-store shopping for Black Friday is kinda a thing of the past. Can all be had online now. The “doorbusters” are all pretty spare and if you just wait a week you can pick up those same items with no problem. Not sure, returned something at Basspro Grapevine and the line for folks checking out must have been 75-125 people, pretty much went back to the bridge where the fish are. Never seen that before there. Bass Pro I’m Garland was busy today. Fortunately, I got in and out in 15 minutes.

Have not seen on the news the normal chaos and fighting associated with Black Fridays.
My theory on this is that the laws are so laxed on shoplifting and theft in general, they do not have to worry about getting great sale deals, they will just steal it when they are ready!

They arent all there for the spare Savage + Bushnell combo or spare $15 hoodie.

Black Friday to me is shopping online, getting a great deal and having it delivered to my front door.
I have no desire to stand outside a business to save a few bucks.

Adidas had a pretty good sale going. Stopped by an Adidas store and grabbed 4 pairs of shoes, a soft sided cooler, pair of running pants all for $125. All the shoes were regularly $70 or more

Black friday is just a crowded headache and deals can be had any time of year.

Black Friday is just getting things at pre inflation prices.
