Head out after Thanksgiving festivities starting at noon today. Good wind in am, but I suppose will be hard to finish ducks tomorrow w clouds.

Going out Friday morning

Hunted this morning, same as it has been, 11 teal and a mallard kicker. Have shot 2 mans of teal + a big duck or 2 kicker 4 times in the last 8 days. Not looking forward to the split

Hunted my place in young county. Pond super low from drought, but still managed 3 wigeon and a pair of gaddies.

Just put dekes out. Medium spread windy as hell - lake is up 6 inches plus - put flashers in each grouping should get them close

I'll be heading out early tomorrow morning. So far this year, have mostly seen red heads, wigeon, and gadwall. I'm hunting near Cresson. Hopefully mallards will make it sometime in the next few weeks.

We have two boats going out tomorrow SE Louisiana. Rain may be an issue might be a late morning hunt.

ESH you mention shooting teal. We are doing the same here mostly teal in our limits. The odd thing is the blue winged seemed to have checked out from our area the last couple of hunts and green winged took their place. Not complaining as long as we have action. Don't have a clue why that stuff happens when weather has been normal. Will be interesting to see if the blues come back tomorrow.

11MPH winds and 51 here in N TX. Looks like we will be dry - don’t like cloud cover…..but wind should help. Yes, redheads gadwall hand full of wigeons and a few mallards. Had a Ring Neck shoot Tuesday 2 hours south of river.

Lots of puddle ducks in my flooded timber but no road access. Got 2 Canvasbacks 2 Wigeon, 2 redheads and 2 limits ringers. We started to decoy puddle ducks but we’re about done. Great hunt.

Back in Dallas by 10:15
