Just got back from my trip with my youngest daughter Logan. We got to the lease around noon on Sunday and had a successful few days of hunting. We went out early to pull cards and pour out some road corn. We had a group of hogs show up and was able to connect with one of the larger sows. We got down just as a light mist started to come in and followed blood for about 50 yards before it got dark and decided to just continue the search the next morning. Monday morning we had 2 small boars come in and I tried for a double but only got one. After recovering the small boar we went back to continue the search for the sow from the night before. We picked up the blood trail and followed light blood followed by good blood over and over for what seemed like 200 yards or so before finally deciding to call the search. We did find some old fossilized sea shells. Tuesday morning we woke up to a heavy fog and frost and that evening we had a lone boar come in and cross the road but didn't stick around. Right at dark and just before we were about to leave I spot something in road and quickly glass to see it was a pig. I get setup before losing what light I had left and quickly drop him in his tracks. We got down and grabbed the Can Am before going and checking on him. As we drove up he started to try and get up so I finished him off with my pistol. Ended up being a really nice razor back boar. We saw lots of deer and made lots of memories these past few days and she was worn out rofl

Now that is what life is all about, making wonderful memories with your kiddo's cheers
Logan is a beautiful young lady, you better start working on your scare tactics for when those evil little boys start coming around!

Lot's of neat pictures, thanks for sharing up

That's what I was thinking...but I'm sure he knows that.

The best. Enjoy those times. I rarely shoot anything when my daughter sits with me.....we talk too much. I wouldn't trade those times for any deer.

That brings back many happy memories for me.

The best time of my life was teaching my kids about hunting, trappin and the great outdoors.
I believe it is a big part of why they turned out the way they did.

From a proud dad and proud grandpa.

Do for yourself as much as you can, eat what nature provides as much as you can. This is the key to sleeping well and living long.

Thanks everyone. It is my favorite part of the season is when my girls come with me although my oldest thinks it is boring now but hopefully she will come back around and start coming again. We always have a blast. She even got to drive the can am for the first time around camp.

Good times and a proud dad.

Here is something, create an email for her and just send her photos, they will be there forever.

Great job and do it as many times as you can because she'll be grown in the blink of an eye!

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

That’s pretty cool, I enjoy when my daughters come along regardless of whether or not I connect with game. Those memories are priceless!
