These are 2 screen shots of videos I have of him. Sometimes he looks younger to me and sometimes he looks older. Trying to get the aging thing down so I can harvest more mature deer. Childress area if that helps. He seems to have a shorter head which makes me think older.
Body to me looks like a 4.5yr old in both the trail cam pic and the video, but those teeth show more wear than that. Any prior years picture history?
I'm going with 4.5.
I'm just up the road in Hall County and the area is very sandy. When a deer sucks up a bunch of corn at the feeder they're grinding dirt and sand as well, accelerating the tooth wear, I'm sure.

Agree with 4.5 of perhaps a year older at the most. Sandy soil accelerates tooth wear
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch
My nephew shot this one earlier this year. Going to send the teeth off to be aged but pretty positive he is 5+, was between 200-205 live weight. Our place is a sand box.
Thanks guys I appreciate all the input. I am actually in Hall county as well I really think he was 4.5 maybe 5.5. I let him walk almost every hunt thinking he would be bigger next year but he got shot by someone else. Just seeing if I made the right decision when I let him walk.
