I haven't bought propane lately so I wasn't aware of how much the price has gone up. This morning I noticed the price of a two-pack of those small bottles is now just under $10 at Walmart. If I'm not mistaken in what I paid back in the summer, that's an increase in just over 40%. Of course, my local Walmart nor the one in East Texas had any, which wasn't the least bit surprising. Like ammo, I've been keeping a good supply stored away.

I really don't want to mess with refilling the small bottles but it may be worth the hassle.

Thankfully we bought several 4 packs years ago that we never used.

Daughter sat with me yesterday and I turned on the first Heater I’ve used in many years

It's cheaper to buy an adapter hose and the 20# tank and keep exchanging it.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Went last Fri to the RV park that I’ve been to many times to refill a 20# and a 30# tank, neither were more than half-empty. They told me new regs say they have to charge as if it’s completely empty. I only refilled the 30#. Cost me $28 for 6 gal.

Get you one of these, I have been doing it for a few years now.

Cost me $40 to refill a 40# tank yesterday, and that's not even the worst price I've paid over the years.

Bought an adapter off Amazon last year (6$) and refill my 1lb cylinders for the blinds and my emergency Dual cylinder Big Buddy at home.
