Anyone hunt around these parts? Used to hunt on the Goodrich Ranch befor it was sold around 2008. Loved the country and miss being able to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Looking for anyone that might know of a spot to lease .

I am not afraid of work, own a construction company so I help with whatever is needed.

I'll see what I can locate for you. I lived on the ranch just north of Goodrich, the Smith Ranch until it was sub-divided in the 80's. Broke my heart to see it done.

Thank you, we were on the farthest back place called the Tanyard on the Goodrich Ranch. Right along the Colorado River.

Loved that land and the atmosphere.

I would really appreciate the help, I have a 4 1/2 year old and a 7 month old so trying to get the ball rolling to get them to get into the outdoors and experience all of the beauty of nature .

grew up hunting all around those parts. That was a HUGH ranch for central Texas back in the day. Good luck with your search, good leases around those parts are not easy to come by these days. So many ranches have been chopped up into smaller tracts, especially that close to the Austin metro area for the weekend get aways.

Yea I figured it was a long shot. I’m open I think to any deer lease . Just have to find my way into a spot somehow.
