I got this buck Wednesday. I had not seen him before on any of my cameras. I had been watching a 6-point that was just too small and young. He left, and I continued watching a little yearling in my feeder pen (she comes back about three times a day), when she alerted to something coming. Great buck. We almost always kill a buck that we have no pictures of and never seen. That is what make it worth going and hoping to see those cruising bucks.

 Congrats on a nice buck! I gave up on trusting trail cameras a few seasons back. It's more fun to not know exactly what is going to walk up, and I've been fooled by that trail camera one time too many. Maybe if I had spent more money on the camera, but I can buy more corn instead.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Maybe if I had spent more money on the camera, but I can buy more corn instead. I really love having the cameras out there. It lets me see things all year round. I'm not sure I trust them to show me what's going to happen during the season, but it's fun to look at the pics.
