And no I’m not looking for any advice or spots. I’m pretty much retired from ducks . If I get the urge I’m on a deer lease these days that had a ten acre lake that holds a ton of birds and it’s only a 50 yard walk to the blind and we can leave the decoys out all season. Public land is just to much of a whopping for this old man anymore
I was just wondering. I used to go 20-30 years ago and we murdered ducks up there back then. I went back a couple of times around ten years ago and there went any birds and very few hunters even trying.

Need to hunt the upper NW arm, loaded with ducks. Yep. Just get in and get out. But use a fast boat😄

I live out there, trust me people still hunt it or at least shoot to celebrate legal shooting time all duck season long

Always a problem when you have a sanctuary. Whether it is Kansas, Oklahoma or Texas, they never change which area is the sanctuary. Saw that in Kansas. Main lake sanctuary with half a million ducks on it and none where people are hunting. Year after year. Wish they would switch them every year or at least open the sanctuary the last week of the season. If nothing else, have a draw to allow some pressure in there. Now that's a draw I would get fired up about.

People definitely hunt RR still! I know of a few hunters who consistently have good luck.

List of birds from this morning, crows, cormorants, herons, cardinals, oh and two ducks, one so high I could barely see it and one so far away I could barely see it....RR is on fire
