Hey guys I just drew a weekend up at the dimmit playa wma. Just wondering if anyone has ever been and if it’s worth a drive to dfw. Really want to go for pheasant. First time. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I won the waterfowl hunt a few years ago. It was a cold 17 degrees in the mornings, but there were pheasants everywhere. It was a shame we only had the waterfowl permits. You can easily limit pheasants without a dog. Don't let this opportunity pass!

Congrats on that draw. That's about 4 in 900 odds. If you seriously won't be going, let them know so someone else can. Specifically me...
No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.
