I got to stand a little to late last week. Now the time change.

What time to be in stand?

What time is first light, where you can barely see ?

My sunrise time is 649.

Best thing is to get there about 2:30am when the deer are sleeping. You can sneak in and when the sun rises a little later, you’ll be ready.

Good idea. I’ve been seeing the late ones. Probably the late night Whataburger crowd.

I usually just get up and eat a bit and have some
coffee and do my bathroom chores at a leisurely
pace so I won't be rushed.
I can usually time it to where I can be draining the
last of a cup of coffee and look outside and see
the east starting to get lighter and head out

You can look at the weather report online and it
gives sunrise and sunset times for the specific
area you're at
You might even want to write it down JIC a GW
quizzes you about shots he may have heard
or thinks he heard

You can legally shoot 30 minutes before sunrise.

If sunrise is 6:49 you could shoot at 6:19 so I would want to be in and settled no later than 6:00.

I usually try to be in my stand an hour before sunrise.

I get to my stand at 05:00 am. This gives me time to throw corn ...get in the blind and get ready for deer ..which will be early.. before shooting time. My feeders go off at 05:45 ..I see deer about from 05:30 to 09:00. I usually see the big bucks just after daylight .

Man. I hit the snooze and went back to sleep. So pissed.

I have to figure in an hour and half drive.

I think me leaving at 415. 5 minute stop at Buccees. Will get me there at 550. Settled in stand by 6.

Seems that around my spot the deer start moving about a hour before first light. I use the app Sun & Moon. So taking into account the 25 minutes it takes to get to my blind I try to leave about 1:15 before 1st light. Doesn’t always work out specially if the pigs are out milling around.

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea

One hour before sun rise at min!!!!!!!!!!!

Any later you will potentially spook deer visiting the feeder.

My feeders are set to spin 1/2 hour before sunrise give or take 5 minutes.
