Had a fellow here today to check the scope on his girlfriends 243. He came over in about the biggest Polaris SXS I have ever seen. Heat and A/C, doors, stereo, electric dump, rear seats and every option he could think of. It has 3 winches. And it is now street legal. $58k. That’s more than we paid for the wife’s Lexus SUV a couple years ago.
As for the gun and scope, the GF had missed a deer or two. With a minor correction, I had the scope dead on. The rifle was an old tang safety Ruger 77 with the heaviest trigger I have encountered in years. No wonder she missed. I strongly suggested a new trigger.

Nothing better for accuracy than a trigger set at 1.5lbs.

58K for a toy, buy your GF a good rifle. 100% A tang safety Ruger is a great rifle. They just had chitty triggers. $200 in trigger and bedding work and you’ll have a damn good shooter.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Yeah Country what started off as a old jeep type vehicle has turned into the same thing a Jeep has. I had a basic Ranger years ago. I added lights and a bed winch, and of course a home made wind shield. In 21 I bought a new one, and while I did not get a new one I did raise the standard bar. You can however go to the extreme like on anything else, and sounds like he was on his way. You should have ask him if it made breakfast in the morning.
