People can make up their own generation called Willy Wonka if they want or identify as whatever generation they wish.

But that won’t change which generation you are generally classified.

Some will be very surprised how they are classified.

Each generation in our country becomes increasingly limp wristed. The male population is losing its ruggedness.

Gen X here, but doesn't matter when you're born. What matters is how you act and treat other people.

Absolutely. People should not get hung up on which generation is better.

Not very many young people here. Rural young people are almost non-existent.

Do you blame them?

Who would want to grow up in the country with nothing do?

You move out to the country to die, not to live.

This is a hunting forum isn't it? People hunt and fish in rural areas, if you actually hunted you might know that.

I don’t see everyone heading to DFW on opening weekend, they are all out here. I guess they all drive out here to do nothing roflmao

I grew up hunting my whole life, probably hunted more than you ever did.

Grew up in Irving, back when it was happening, we could drive up Beltline and hunt all the doves we wanted from 114 to Coppel Line

If I wanted Duck Hunting I could hunt ponds in Coppel/Irving border

I would drive up to Aubrey and hunt all those peanuts fields and stock tanks and massacre the mallards.

If I still wanted to hunt I would just hunt in Frisco, now of days I rather Bass Fish.

Wrong
I live in the country to live the life I want to, it's a choice and one I don't regret.

I don't have to deal with neighbors bad choices their barking dog, poor or nonexistent landscape decisions and the list goes on.
Don't get me wrong town has thing everyone need to live and nice places to eat at, but the daily hustle isn't for me.
Country living for me is busy I could put in 10 hour days everyday if I wanted to, tractor work, looking after deer feeders, minerals, stands, etc.
I can hunt, fish, shot, enjoy wildlife, go for a ride on the SXS or just sit on the patio and listen to nothing everyday.

Between the front and backyard the other morning there were 17 deer and turkeys at the treeline not the same view in city life.
I hope you make it to the country some day.

I can see deer, rabbits, bobcats, some coyotes and mallards/geese almost daily in Frisco. Why would I need to drive somewhere?

Hell I keep corn out at the pond where I live, always wild life there, mostly ducks.

I got the best of everything, I did soccer, karate, baseball and basketball growing up, and got my first shotgun at age 12. In High School my last two classes was Study Hall and Soccer I would take off and go fishing before soccer practice.

When it was dove / quail season we would go hunting after school in Irving
