My hunting buddy didn’t make it long. That’s alright, I’ll take first watch.

Looks very comfortable though.

Don’t wake him up before you shoot but keep the camera rolling to capture his reaction.

Don’t wake him up before you shoot but keep the camera rolling to capture his reaction. I’ve been thinking this same thing!

I have had some of my best sleep setting in the deer stand And when you wake up there will be deer under the feeder! Reminds me of yesteryear, about 65 years ago, Dad and I were hunting at Red River Army Depot. Thanksgiving school break and we had been getting up around 3am in order to get on the sweater list. We were taken to our stand and about 1 pm after lunch, I found a tree to lean up against. I woke up and if I had been able to hold my shotgun up by the stock , I could have reached out and touched about 6-8 does on the nose with it. No I didn't get one . Daniel

My sons are starting their third season this year. Always a joy to take them to the stand. they mess around and play with their phone and stuff but they want to go hunting and it makes me happy to take them. our first sit was pretty slow and warm. deer crossed senderos but none came in or stuck around very long. big bobcat sat down in the middle of the road right before dark....you can imagine how that went next. we shot a bobcat. he definitely hit him...drug himself into some nasty tangle that i wasn't going into on hands and knees for a bobcat. but we got him! day 1 with good days ahead.
