Sitting in the blind waiting for day break

Here in Bandera County it is very quiet except for the puking going on from those that hunted the 11th Street Bar and Silver Dollar last night.

Beautiful clear, still morning. Quiet, 'cept some crazy bastard sounded the European "Call to Hunt" about 6:30 on a trumpet or bugle or something. Echoed over the whole Bear Creek valley.

A nice quite 39° in Ballinger.

Super quiet in Young county. Usually sounds like WW2 on opening day about now.

Calm and still in southern Brown County. Did hear a shot off in distance at about legal light.

Haven’t seen anything yet or heard any gunshots. My son is hoping to get his first deer this weekend.

You got that right, have heard 6-7 so far here near Murray.

4 small bucks so far. I need my does to come around. The big boys are running with them now. It’s a sausage fest here at the moment though.

Small bobcat. Henderson County. Only saw one doe. No buck behind her.
