Frankie had and account on TFF last year, he was posting a little bit. Not sure if he is still posting over there.

Storms are likely to be good to the roofers today.

Storms are likely to be good to the roofers today. Sure do hope you are wrong about this. Almost very house in our area had to have a roof replaced due to the hail storm we had earlier this year. Have a neighbor who works for an established roofing company and he said they still have at least 4 more months of backlog. He said material was getting tight.

Sure hope we don't get hit square on with heavy wind. I've got one dead pine tree from pine beetles that will probably hit my out bldg's and 3 car carport.....or the Den on the back side of my house where I am typing this, all depending on the wind's direction when it hits, coming off the highest point ridge in Anderson County.
I can't get my regular Tree Service to show up at the promised Apt time & my east side next door neighbor has 5 dead pine tree's out of about 40-50 she's working to get cut down on her 1 1/2 acre house lot & flanked on both sides with empty 1 1/2 acre lots and all of 'em are 300' deep, same as my 2/3rds of an acre lot is.
When we bought this house in 2016 I wondered why the 8 acre estate my place backs up to had NO Pines left on it ....and now I know WHY. All of the Pine tree's around me and on my lot are way taller than 100',, up to mebbe 150'+. Pine beetles have been really bad this year and the drought has only accelerated the problem.
Went to Athens yesterday and saw mebbe 8-10 dead Wt's on the Hwy 19 shoulder's...and a couple here in town too. Scary stuff goin' on with this weather. Ron
