We cut a lot of roseau cane to cover our four man duck blind this past weekend. We also have to cover the boat we use to get us to the blind. We are ready for the big duck season now all we need is the ducks to be there.

You better spend the night in that thing to be sure someone doesn't beat you to it

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Fortunately it is leased property so no need to get there to early. Going Saturday for the youth - Military hunt weekend. My son was in the Marine Corps so he gets to crack on them a week early.

I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new, but now you'll have cane in the spot forever.

I wish that would be the case that they would grow there but they wont, to much water. If there was land the gets covered by water on occasion then yes. Just the way it works over here. We have done it this way for decades.

My definition [Linked Image]
of a good roseau cane.
