Lol I tried the roller skates a few times. Definitely not my strong suit. I was much faster on foot. With the tips I made I probably made double what the cooks made. Was a no brainer.


I bet if you were in roller skates and a thong you would have done 10x more tips.

Nobody wanted to see that!

It's been so long that I can't remember if it was my 1st or 2nd job, but it was in the kitchen at Sonic. I know my mom or dad would have to drop be off and pick me up. The manager made you clock out, then clean the grill, etc. 'Told my dad about it and he said "You're not working there anymore." I still can't believe they made the come-back that they did. 'Guess this thread proves...some folks'll eat anything.

Back many years ago I stopped in there for a milk shake. From where I was parked I could see into the kitchen and could see the guy making it. Apparently he got it too full and ran it over. He took his finger, ran it around the rim then stick his finger in his mouth. I avoided Sonic for years after that. Ownership and location have changed but I can't go there without thinking of that.
